A very quick, healthy, filling and a mouth watering recipe for the oat lovers.
This recipe serves 2
Time: 30 min
Ingredients:
1 cup oats (grind them)
1/4 cup semolina or sooji
1 tbsp oil
1/3 cup curd (sour curd will also work)
1 red onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 cup cabbage finely chopped
1 green chili chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
4 curry leaves (chopped)
1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves
Red chili powder - to taste
Salt- to taste
Directions:
* You can add your choice of vegetables as well like finely chopped carrots,green beans or capsicum.
* Sooji can be substituted for same amount of ground oats.

Directions:
- In a bowl combine oats,sooji,curd,salt and red chili powder to form a smooth batter.
- Heat a non stick tava/pan and grease it lightly with oil.
- Pour 1/4th of the batter on it and spread it evenly using a ladle or big spoon to make a thin chila/uttapam and spread a handful of chopped vegetables on top side.
- Cook on a medium flame till it turns golden brown on one side.
- Using a spatula turn over and cook for another minute.
- Serve hot with green chutney or sauce of your choice.
- Repeat the above steps for the remaining batter.
* You can add your choice of vegetables as well like finely chopped carrots,green beans or capsicum.
